FAQ

How do I calculate a discounted price?
Compute the discount amount (e.g. 20% off means 80% of the original), then subtract it from the original price.
How are growth and drop rates calculated?
Growth rate = (new − original) / original × 100%. A negative result means a decrease.
Percentage vs percentage point?
A percentage is a ratio; a percentage point is an absolute difference. For example, a rate rising from 5% to 6% is +1 point (+20%).
